| How Do I - See a
doctor as a temporary resident
Temporary Residents The temporary resident system allows patients to see a doctor other than their normal doctor. It is mainly useful for visiting family members who fall ill or run out of prescription medicine whilst they are in our practice area. We are happy to see temporary residents who can make an
appointment in the same way as our local patients. We are happy to see patients from overseas. Patients who live in the E.E.C. are eligible for free treatment on the N.H.S. Britain also has a reciprocal agreement with Australia to provide medical care. Patients from U.S.A. and Canada (including expatriate Scots) , and other parts of the world, are welcome to see us. We make a charge for our services as outlined below and will issue a receipt to enable you to claim back the costs from insurance companies.
